Constance Sue Kinser Decker of Mesa, passed away on May 1, 2008 at Banner Baywood Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Sue was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister was born on July 4, 1953 in Bakersfield, California to Ira Joseph “Shorty” & Wanda Kinser.
Sue is survived by her husband of 31 years Donovan Decker Jr., of Eloy, and their children Evelyn and husband Mike Wells and their children Cannon and Dillon Scudder, Carolyne and husband Terry Ringgaard, Donovan Jason and Daniel, her Mother Wanda Kinser, brothers Joe Kinser of Colorado and Jeremy of Mesa, sisters Inez Kinser Carroll and Zelma Kinser of Louisiana, as well as the large and loving extended family of Don, Sr. & Anne Decker of Eloy. She was preceded in death by her father Ira “Shorty” Kinser and granddaughter Haylee Mari Ringgaard.
She worked as a nurse in Casa Grande until moving to Mesa in 2000. At the time of her death Sue was employed at Boeing in Mesa as a Registered Nurse. Throughout her career she touched an untold amount of lives and continued to do so at her death by giving the gift of life to others as an organ donor.
Sue will be fondly remembered for her love of her family, her compassion for others, as well as her unusual collection of Betty Boop.
Per her request, there will be no memorial services. The family would like to thank all those at Banner Baywood Hospital for their compassion and care. Thank you to all who have offered your love, support and prayers.
Sue will be missed by all!
