Bobby Joe Baugus
(May 24, 1953 – August 18, 2019)

Bobby Joe Baugus, age 66, of Winchester, Tenn., departed this life suddenly on Sunday, August 18, 2019, at STRHS Winchester. Mr. Baugus was born in Casa Grande, Arizona on May 24, 1953, to the late James Baugus and Lela Annalee Darden Baugus. Mr. Baugus graduated from Casa Grande Union High School. He was a heavy weight wrestler at Phoenix, Jinior College in 1972 and his minor was radio broadcasting as Dr. Buzzard. After attending Junior College he was a Butcher by trade for a Grocery Chain for many years. He relocated to Cookeville, Tenn., and was employed for approximately 10 years as Manager of Taco Bell. He enjoyed playing harmonica and loved to make people laugh.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Baugus was preceded in death by his wife, Victoria Jean Vaughn Baugus, brothers; Alvin and Jackie Baugus, and sister, Kitty June Dockins. He is survived by his sisters; Virginia Louise Lee of Minnesota, Iva Dawson of Phoenix, Arizona, Anna Lampshire of Livingston, Tenn., Henrietta Reyes of Phoenix, Arizona brothers; Johnny Baugus of Oregon and Frank Baugus of Missouri, step-son, Jason Vaughn and wife, Tiffany of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., 3 step-grand-children Courtney, Denice and Jason Vaughan, II, great-grandchildren; Madison Hunt and Paizley Davidson.
