Wilbert Tyler
Wilbert Lee Tyler, 50, of Casa Grande died May 8, 2003 at the Veterans Affairs hospital in Tucson

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud Casa Grande Chapel. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at new Hope Baptist Church, with the Rev. Darryl Henry officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Tyler was born Aug. 28, 1952 in Madisonville, Texas. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and worked at Frito-Lay Inc.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Verta and Richard Haygood Sr. of Casa Grande; three daughters, Nelda Tyler Nunez of Coolidge, Katina Ayers and Konesha Tyler of Casa Grande; three sons, Delbert Tyler of Chandler, Wilbert Tyler Jr. and Wilbert Tyler III; two sister, Cynthia and Alicia Haygood of Phoenix; two brothers, Eddie Tyler and Darnell Haygood of Casa Grande; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Lee D. Tyler, and a bother, Richard Haygood Jr.

Visitation for Tito Solano, 38, of Casa Grande, is scheduled for 9–9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Cole & Maud Chapel. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Solano was born Sept. 16, 1953, in Casa Grande and had lived here all his life. He had worked for Casa Grande Valley Newspapers for six years where he was warehouse supervisor. He was a member of the Modified Motorcycle Club. 

He died Sept. 29, 1991, in Casa Grande.

He is survived by his wife, Doris; one son, Tobias, of Casa Grande; a daughter, Anna Diaz, of Modesto, Calif.; his mother, Erminda Solano, of Casa Grande; two brothers, Remiago, of Stanfield and Gilbert, of LaPuente, Calif.; and three sisters, Bertha Galivez, of El Paso, Texas, Martha Solano, of Florence and Diana Alley, of Mena, Ark.

Visitation for Phillip George Serrano, 40, of Houston, TX, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Simes Casa Grande Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with the Rev. Steven Stencil officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Phillip was born Oct. 29, 1953 in Casa Grande. He attended Casa Grande schools and was a member of St. Anthony Church. He graduated from Arizona State Univ. 

A 19-year resident of Houston, he was manager of graphic design services for St. Luke’s Hospital there. Some of his work included illustrations featured in medical brochures distributed nationally.

He died May 17, 1994 in Houston.

He is survived by his mother, Yvonne Serrano, of Casa Grande; two sisters: Sara Turner, of Casa Grande, and Linda Waggoner, of Mesa; four brothers: Chris and Greg, both of Casa Grande, Mark, of Ramona, CA, and Mac Randle, of John Day, OR; and his paternal grandmother, Sarah Serrano, of Casa Grande.
